I went to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens earlier in the year, and took in their show of tulips! I love this time of year when the flowers are planted in large banks, and all are in full bloom. More exciting to me, is when they’ve planted multiple colors together, and the color shines!

What excites me about this thread scheme, is that it begins with 4 colors, and not three! Yes, again I show my “color nerd” tendencies! But, the thread palette came out just as beautiful, and came together nicely. Wait until you see some of the color harmonies that came out of this one – stunning!

For each of these thread scheme, or palettes, , I’ll include both an image showing how it was built (to the left), and a thread color schemes, with actual thread numbers, that you can print out. Feel free to save these cards, because you never know when you’ll need them.
