I look at this photo, and it just makes me smile, and even giggle a bit. You look at it, and begin to wonder if I’m OK… This photo is a picture of a walking shoe – yes, a walking shoe! But it just isn’t ANY walking shoe! I got this pair of shoes when I decided to venture out, and walk a half marathon. So, this picture of sneakers is very empowering. And, since I finished the race standing up – it shows that I did it.

So, what do I do to celebrate finishing the race? Play around with the color! Here’s just 1 of a couple thread schemes I dreamt about!

For each of these thread scheme, or palettes, , I’ll include both an image showing how it was built (to the left), and a thread color schemes, with actual thread numbers, that you can print out. Feel free to save these cards, because you never know when you’ll need them.
