The Garden Traditions series continues, this time inspired by yet another Virginia garden plantation.  This time, the garden layout was inspired by everything growing in the kitchen garden,  giving me lots of narrow “plots” to work with.  The architecture around the gardens inspired the border, from the Chippendale fences, to the brick posts.

The model if done using another Caron Waterlilies thread, but the possibilities are endless.  Expect to see further thread schemes come out soon, but make up your own.  It will be gorgeous however you stitch it!
