The next several thread schemes are a little different. They are some suggestions based upon the seasonal colors – red, gold, and green. Sometimes you just need a simple color scheme, and this will give you some suggestions. This first color scheme, is based on the standard bolder colors, but will give you several colors within each of the 3 colors. You can just the colors based on whatever pattern you are working with, or even play with this thread wheel and any of my color harmonies. You can pick up these colors, and the combinations are endless!

For each of these thread schemes, or palettes, , I’ll include both an image showing how it was built (to the left), and a thread color schemes, with actual thread numbers, that you can print out. Feel free to save these cards, because you never know when you’ll need them.
